When we went to bed, we knew it was wrong-

For we were mad at each other, at the time we

did not get along.

And, when bedtime had come, well, the feelings

did not go away.

We tossed and turned the whole night long-

We knew that going to bed, mad at each

other, was downright wrong.

But, we were stubborn, and did it anyway-

Not much sleep was had, at the break of day.
