Writing can get a bit hairy-
If the writer does not sometimes consult the dictionary.

To have watched her movies all these years-
Some causing laughter, some causing tears.
.
National Velvet-
As classic as one can get.
.
Little Women-
Oh, that Amy, over and over again.
.
Father of the Bride-
Of course, done over, true and tried.
.
A Place in the Sun-
Certainly gave those tissues a run.
.
Elephant Walk-
Brought quiet to the audience, with
no talk.
.
The Last Time I Saw Paris-
Another sad one on the list.
.
Giant-
Big ranch time spent.
.
Raintree County-
About the best one, to be.
.
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof-
Emotions gone aloof.
.
Suddenly, Last Summer-
Quite a mental stir.
.
Butterfield 8-
Academy Award to date.
.
Cleopatra-
Extragant a la la.
.
Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf?
No, rhyming here, but the
second Academy Award, as of late.
.
And, on the funny side-
The Simpsons, The Flintstones,
and The Nanny, done with pride.
.
To disagree with the title of
her first movie, “There’s One Born
Every Minute”-
The mold was thrown away, when
Elizabeth Taylor was created and set.
.
To have watched her movies all these years-
Some causing laughter, some causing tears.

There was the one who could write-
Her words made other lives’ bright.
.
At first she didn’t know that she could
write-
Until one day the words just came out
right there on site.
.
All of her life, she did not know-
That on everything she carried
had words on it that continued to grow.
.
It must have been a natural thing, for
she did not have to assert-
The words came naturally, there was no
exert.
.
It was as if her words flowed through her fingers,
as soon as she would pick up a paper, in which
to write-
Later on it would be the same scenario, in type.
.
As she wrote, she did not think it was all that-
As a matter of fact, she wondered why she wrote
what she did as she sat.
.
Until one day, she picked up a piece of paper that
she had written a long time ago-
It was something that she could not have written,
the words she did not recognize or know.
.
But, it had her name on it, so it was have been
written by her-
It was so wonderful, that it gave her a heartstir.
.
Obviously, she was too critical, of her own work,
as it was being done-
Had to be put away, and brought back out again,
for it to shine in the sun.
.
There was the one who could write-
Her words made other lives’ bright.

2. Drink plenty of fluids.

the future you never want to see
or taste another one again or see
anything that resembles one.
