Modern Mother Goose-On The Loose # 635 (Spun)

The world began to spin-

And, then it did it over and over again.

.

What we did not want to know-

We changed so that the truth would not grow.

.

What we did not want to say-

We just turned the words another way.

.

We tricked ourselves in many things of thought-

In the end, the truth was never sought.

.

The way we wanted the world to be-

We created in our own society.

.

The world began to spin-

And, then it did it over and over again.

Modern Mother Goose-On The Loose # 978 (To Give A Quiet Holler)

We hollered across the plain-

With the prospect, of local information, to gain.

.

We waited, for word, by pony express-

From loved ones, to a specific address.

.

Snail mail eventually took its place-

Back then, it was considered letters delivered in haste.

.

And, then came the telephone-

With one person navigating, letting your personal

business, to the whole town be readily known.

.

The party line was certainly a go-getter-

Sharing a line, with just a few folks was a trend setter.

.

To remember the days, when we got a call-

And, had to stand, in the corner, and talk on the phone,

that was attached to the wall.

.

Pay phones helped to ease the load-

When we traveled elsewhere, on the road.

.

Cordless became the rule-

To talk out in the yard, became the normal cool.

.

The cell took its place in line-

Conversation everywhere is what we could find.

.

And, now when we holler at that special friend-

Instant messaging or a text is what we send.

.

Simple words, across the screen-

No vocals involved, just the message seen.

.

We hollered across the plain-

With the prospect, of local information, to gain.

To Change The Words To Clear-That Much Nagging Fear # 37

Some of those things that I read
I just cannot believe-

.
So I will research the subject,
and have the truth up my sleeve.

Three Ways To Know That You Enjoy Writing (2013)

1. You write everyday.
2. It’s always there.
3. It’s one written book after another.
=
Words to go-
In full flow.

Modern Mother Goose-On The Loose # 845 (To Simply Write)

To take flight-

To simply write.

.

To unload the brain-

To let the words rain.

.

To cause a stir-

To put it on paper.

.

To read about what is going round-

To supplement the words that are found.

.

To get many a view-

For a rounded out opinion, to acrue.

.

To take flight-

To simply write.
