Modern Mother Goose-On The Loose # 835 (Not To Overlook)

I went for a walk, and what did I see?

What the earth, had to give, with all of its beauty.

.

The trees were standing tall and strong-

As I simply carried along.

.

There were flowers growing astray-

A newer one, for a brand new day.

.

The turtles were in the shell-

Guess they don’t like company, as

far as I can tell.

.

Little bugs crawling everywhere-

In the grass, on the rocks that were bare.

.

Sometimes we take this all for granted,

as we travel along-

To hear the birds, in full song.

.

Doesn’t take an electronic gadget, to

enjoy Mother Nature-

Been here forever, and in the future

will endure.

.

I went for a walk, and what did I see?

What the earth, had to give, with all of its beauty.

Modern Mother Goose-On The Loose # 762 (To Simply Walk And Talk)

The man and woman took a walk-

To see nature, simply to talk.

.

They went into the woods, filled with trees-

In the shade, there was a breeze.

.

They passed a squirrel, that had an

acorn in hand-

Quite a quick little fellow, colored brown

and tan.

.

They suddenly came upon a creek that

had run dry-

Guess that old stuff called drought, is the

reason why.

.

A big green turtle, stuck his head out-

And, when he spotted the visitors, his

head reversed in route.

.

All over the forest, there were many kinds

of vine-

On the forest floor, and up in trees, to

seek and find.

.

As the man and woman continued to talk-

They didn’t realize the distance, until they

headed back on their walk.

.

Miles and miles they had traveled at best-

Having a simple talk and enjoying the forest.

.

The man and woman took a walk-

To see nature, to simply talk.

To walk-

Alone, or with someone to talk.

.

To walk along a street-

To walk at night, to avoid the heat.

.

To move the legs, in a fast mode-

To take care of a heavy load.

.

To walk along a scenic view-

To burn calories, with a possible

conversation, to acrue.

.

To walk far away-

To walk with nothing to say.

.

To do this every night-

To walk by moonlight.

To walk-
