She accused the boy of stealing her gum-
For everyday she noticed the missing sum.
.
This strange and eerie endeavor-
Appeared to go on forever.
.
She would put new gum in the same place-
And when she looked again there would be an empty space.
.
He said that he never took her freaking gum and of it he did tire-
Of her accusing him, the issue went on and on and never did retire.
.
There came a time when the boy died and could no longer be accused
of stealing-
For he was now in Heaven, and on this earth, he was no longer rocking
and reeling.
.
The funny thing is that the gum continued to come up missing even
though the boy was no longer around-
She had to blame someone else for the gum that still could no longer
be found.
.
Oddly enough someone suggested that she put a camera in the gum
spot, and other places where stuff went missing, on a regular basis-
And before long a solution was found that no one expected and
that no one could miss.
.
It was HER that was moving the gum and other stuff around-
A sick accusing woman that still continued to stand her ground.
.
She was never wrong and could not admit that it could be her-
So the stuff in her house continued to be moved and stir.
.
She accused the boy of stealing her gum-
For everyday she noticed the missing sum.
