We don’t know them all by name-
But, they fought for us, all the same.
.
They all served their country well-
With many a story to describe, with
many a tale to tell.
.
Both living and dead, we honor them all-
Those who are with us, those who took that
fall.
.
For without these special people in the world-
The rest of us would be left in a swirl.
.
We take for granted the way that we live-
But, it could not be, without our veterans
who gave and continue to give.
.
Appreciate an American veteran whenever
you can-
Give them thanks, give them a hand.
.
We don’t know them all by name-
But, they fought for us, all the same.
