The cat was struck in the tree-
For the whole neighborhood to see.
.
It meowed out loud-
It induced a crowd.
.
So quickly up, the police officer went-
This is how some NYPD officers’ time is spent.
.
And, before too long-
The stuck, up in the tree, was going strong.
.
For the NYPD officer, that was up in the tree-
Apparently Tarzan, he did not happen to be.
.
There were two now stuck in the tree-
This was now a job for the New York firefighters,
as it generally tends to be.
.
Ladder Company 160 arrived on the scene,
and saved both after-
Giving way first, to plenty of laughter.
.
The cat was struck in the tree-
For the whole neighborhood to see
.

1. They’re sweet.
2. They’re kind.
3. When they pull out in front of you on the road it is not
because they have low self esteem and have to get a
boost to that ego, it is because they cannot see.

Some drive down the road-
Carrying more than a heavy load.
