Here and there, up and over the bend.

And, when I was finished the moment had to be faced-

The story was over and would have to be replaced.

A scenario that happened over and over again-

And, it’s funny for the same thing is going on today,

as it was way back then.

To outgrow that written word-

In my life, simply is not heard.

A new book, to find-

To simply refresh the mind.

.

As a child, I couldn’t put the book down-

Wherever I was the book could also be found.

Obviously-

To complain is so easy.

No doubt-

There are so many things to complain about.

No sunshine, to be found-

No good thoughts hanging around.

Too much trouble, to look for the good-

Wouldn’t bother, if one could.

Always looking for the worst side-

Even done, in full pride.

.

Day after day, the art to complain-

Sad and sorry, but can make others go insane.

For if we have no brightness, to lead our day-

Then it’s over, with no hope, we’ve lost our way.

Obviously-

To complain, is so easy.

1. The green bean casserole will have been completely consumed.

2. The turkey will have been picked and packed away for numerous leftovers during the coming weeks.

3. The turkey and pilgrim decorations will have been removed from under the Christmas tree.
