There was a little bunny, born without ears-
And, until much thought, was given, it brought
much cheers.
.
A round little head, with nothing, to flop-
Just pink eyes, a cute nose, and a mouth,
with nothing to drop.
.
The pic went all over the world-
On the internet, it whirled and whirled.
.
But, then all of a sudden, the reality, set in-
Looking back, over again, to a while back
when.
.
A time when radiation was spewing, all over
the land-
Not much danger, was the message, on hand.
.
Not much proof yet, but could it be?
A mutation? In the light of reality, to see?
.
There was little bunny, born without ears-
And, until much thought, was given, it brought
much cheers.

We had to wait in line-
And, really and truly,
we did not mind.
.
Not to say, that it was
fun-
But, it was something
that had to be done.
.
For we had no choice-
And, surely, we would
not raise our voice.
.
It could not be helped
and we were stuck-
Because something had
had gone amuck.
.
So, we decided to end
the suspense-
And, just try a bit, of
patience.
.
Of course, we waited too
long-
But, then again, we are
strong.
.
We had to wait in line-
And, really and truly,
we did not mind.
