I have much power-
For I take that thing
called the long shower.

And, with them, I will
never change-
For my life, will not be
put in re-arrange.

While brushing my teeth,
I love the sound-
Of running water, I love
the pound.
.
To deprive myself, I cannot
bear-
I’ll continue to brush my
teeth, with the water running,
for me, it is only fair.

To think that I’d have to
wait for a full load, in the
dishwasher, or the washing
machine-
Is ridiculous to me, it is
obscene.

My toliet flushes just fine-
To take the time, to order
a low flow, would put my
time in a bind.
.
A speck of dirt on my car-
I take it to the carwash, for
I am a road star.

I don’t own a broom, so that
walkway-
Has to be washed down daily,
what else could I say?

I expect that others will act like
a fool-
And, not fill or re-fill their own
personal pool.

But, I am the exception, for I
like mine crystal clear-
And, I’ll change it whenever I
feel the need, my dear.

As you can see I am not a good
neighbor, and I will not cut back-
Even in the middle of a drought,
where much water we lack.

I have much power-
