I looked out the window and what did I see?
But a head with a bunch of hair, that was quite scary.
.
It wasn’t there last night, so I just did not know-
How it came about and how it came to be so.
.
Surely it must not be real and was here for a good reason-
Especially since this was the fall and Halloween season.
.
I couldn’t stand to look at it any more-
For it scared me, as in the wind, it began to soar.
.
The next morning I looked out the window and partook in a big sigh-
For I saw Mama’s mop and handle, on the clothesline, that she had hung out to dry.
.
I looked out the window and what did I see?
But a head with a bunch of hair, that was quite scary.
