2. You can’t remember what you wore yesterday.
3. You forget many serious political mistakes,
and continue, to vote, the same way.

As the memory, cannot be re-arranged.

The snow came-
And, things were no longer the same.
.
I had to dig my way out-
To head, in the direction, of my work route.
.
And, even then it was hard to make way-
For this was no sunshine day.
.
The streets and highways were filled with ice and snow-
Should have stayed home, with nowhere, to go.
.
But, of course, I slowly crept, and headed towards
the destination-
Too much snow, what an abomination.
.
If only everyone else would slow down a bit-
I like safety, I don’t want to get hit.
.
Shouldn’t complain though, for in the summer, we
did sweat-
Really and truly we haven’t gotten over that yet.
.
The snow came-
And, things were no longer the same.

You went to Heaven, thirty years ago-
You were a person, that I was privileged, to know.
.
On this earth, we happened to meet in time-
And, we blended together, as well as my written rhyme.
.
I thought that when you died, that I would no longer be-
But, you tricked me and gave me a piece of your strength,
that I use daily.
.
Even in my darkest hour, (And you know that I have had a few
of those), I know that you are there-
You always accepted me as I was, you were always fair.
.
I wish that I could be more like you, for I was truly blessed-
To have someone who could love me, as I am, and generously
bring out the best.
.
You were the one-
Who validated me as a human being, as a person.
.
Yes, I still miss you, after three whole decades-
I can see you so vivid, a memory that never fades.
.
You went to Heaven, thirty years ago-
You were a person, that I was privileged, to know.

2. Pick through the whole alphabet.
3. Google a word associated with it.

Reminds me of that Elvis song-
I Forgot To Remember To Forget,
with an additional, and finally it
happened to come along.

There was a lady from January to December-
Who needed help to remember.
.
She had a hard time. with what
was in the backseat-
The art to focus, was just not
complete.
.
So she started looking around-
To see if remedies, could be
found.
.
An alarm, was a good idea to
remind-
Or to throw her purse, in the
back, was an idea of a different
kind.
.
A life so busy, and an answer
to her problem, had to be
solved-
So, that the act, of leaving the
baby in the car, could be
resolved.
.
There was a lady from January to December-
Who needed help to remember.
