I left work and it was all over and through-
With office work, I had nothing left to do.
.
Except to take that one more call-
And, of course another e-mail, that I could not stall.
.
I left the office at 5pm, on a regular day-
But, the followups kept getting in the way.
.
It would be several hours before I was really through-
With modern technology what else can one do?
.
It’s hard to ignore the work, that is always in your face-
Even though hours ago, you left that workplace.
.
I left work and it was all over and through-
With office work, I had nothing left to do.
