2. A disease.
3. Swampy.

From mobile game to
the big screen-
You know the one, the
alligator, that is green.

Apples and oranges are not exactly the same-
But, then again, they both play a grand part,
in the healthy eating game.

If we’re not comfortable, we demand ease-
We do for ourselves, we progress with self please.
.
If things are not going our way-
We let everyone know, that very day.
.
If an incident doesn’t suit us well-
We can’t be quiet about it, we must tell.
.
We have to have our 15 minute of fame, a
great accomplishment-
Considered in this day and time, an act well
spent.
.
But, wait a minute, there is someone else in grief-
To focus on another human being, would it mean
turning over a new leaf?
.
If we’re not comfortable, we demand ease-
We do for ourselves, we progress with self please.

There were two sides-
And, each took theirs, in stride.
.
They could not agree-
As all could see.
.
There was no compromise-
Of any size.
.
They stalled-
They stonewalled.
.
Things stayed the same-
In this political game.
.
To break the tie-
They all gave a sigh.
.
No common ground-
Able to be found.
.
There were two sides-
And, each took theirs, in stride.

To spend hours playing Monopoly-
Yes, that is the way, it used to be.
.
To be the banker was a lot of fun-
Doling out the money, was a job well done.
.
Always liked to be the little doggie, to make
my mark-
After rolling the dice, although, he did not bark.
.
To pass go, and collect that two hundred-
Sometimes broke, trying to get ahead.
.
One could always relax-
When they missed a spot, that involved
a tax.
.
For no one wanted to pay-
We wanted to collect, we wanted things
to go our way.
.
One good reward-
Was that get out of jail free card.
.
For as one made the round-
Finding oneself, in jail, could easily be found.
.
The game would be going great-
When one had their hands on the best real estate.
.
A hotel on Boardwalk and Park Place-
Heightened one’s chances, to win at a faster pace.
.
But, then again, the other ones could serve one well-
If one of the other players, landed on them, for a spell.
.
The game was not usually won real fast-
The ups and downs, would make the game last.
.
To finish up, and know that it wouldn’t be too long-
We’d be back, with another game going strong.
To spend hours playing Monopoly-
Yes, that is the way, it used to be.
