There once was a group of people on TV-
That we sat down to watch and see.

They would sing and dance-
They’d take quite a chance.
.
They’d make clothes-
They’d travel where the river flows.
.
They’d try to find a date-
They’d get into some type of debate.
.
They’d eat bugs-
They’d be related to thugs.
.
They’d include the whole family-
And sometimes one there just might be.
.
They’d starve themselves-
They’d grab whatever is on the shelves.
.
They’d pretend their kid was in a balloon-
They’d give up info on their neighbors in a quick tune.
.
They would crash the White House-
And take the time to swap their spouse.
.
There once was a group of people on TV-
That we sat down to watch instead of living our own reality.
