The chicken was bought at the store-
There were so many ways to cook it,
and so much more.

Fried in the pan-
With much flour on hand.
.
Baked in the oven-
Turned over once, and
then turned again.
.
Barbecued outside-
Taking a skewer ride.
.
Best chicked salad-
Mixed, that we ever had.
.
Chicken and spaghetti-
Always tend to agree.
.
On a sandwich, chicken meat-
Is always an easy treat.
.
Of course, it has to go-
With the okra, in the gumbo.
.
Always another recipe-
In the subject, of chicken, there
tends to be.
.
The chicken was bought at the store-
There were so many ways to cook it,
and so much more.
