.

A delicious variety is what the Girl Scouts have got.

.

Savannah Smiles, Duke de Leche, and the Peanut

Butter Sandwich-

Out to get my order, in front, of the local grocery store,

without a hitch.

.

Caramel deLites, Lemonades, and Thank U Berry Munch-

The perfect addition, to highlight that everyday lunch.

.

And, let’s not forget the Thin Mints, and Shortbread-

Girl Scout Cookie sales are a coming, full steam ahead.

.

Back on March 12th, almost one hundred years ago-

The Girl Scouts began, and has continued to grow.

.

In Savannah, Georgia, is where it  began-

With 18 girls, readily on hand.

.

The plans had been laid-

To hike, to play basketball, and to study

that first aid.

.

Juliette “Daisy” Gordon Low, believed that it

should be –

For all girls to be given the opportunity to develop

physically, mentally, and spiritually.

.

No more isolation at home, for these girls-

For they stepped out together, and discovered

much detail, about this big wide world.

.

Now back to those Girl Scout Cookies that will soon

be sold about-

Especially, in East Montgomery County, for it is always

the highlight, of the year, no doubt..

.

Not all of the cookies above are sold in every part, of the

country-

With two hired bakers, that is just the way it turns out to be.

.

To get ready, with a favorite list, of course-

The Girl Scouts are coming, they will be out in full force.

.

Here comes the Girl Scout Cookies, proud and clear-

We look for their bright packaging, each and every year.
