Mr. Green Eyes Celebrates Mardi Gras

Mr. Green Eyes saw
A lot of sights at Mardi Gras,
Floats, trinkets, and marching bands-
This was the tradition of his owner’s land.
Pure fun entertainment in the raw.

Mr. Green knew he could catch some beads
All he had to do was follow the lead,
With his tail straight up in the air-
Beads caught right there was easy fare.
A bit of lagniappe is always a welcome
deed.
