The weekend is what
most work for-
As a matter of fact
,plenty of folks keep
score.

Monday is the first
day-
That most hate to
get underway.

Tuesday is Tuesday
with not much to say-
Just another work
week, underway.

Wednesday is the
middle of the week,
called the hump-
And if we get past
that, then most of
the week, we can
mentally dump.

Thursday is the
fourth day-
Meaning that Friday,
thank goodness, is
about to get underway.

And then of course,
there is Friday-
Yes, we’ve made it,
and that weekend,
will shortly be on
its way.
